BULLA: [boo-ya]- the ability to create a stir; slang for chatter and what everyone is talking about. Simply put, a fun, casual gathering place inspired by the most popular tapas-style restaurants in Spain. Bulla's architecture was designed by New York-based Celano Studio, which has created a feeling reminiscent of famous gastrobars. Much like those famous gastrobars in Spain, Bulla is devoted to serving unique Spanish and Catalan dishes created with the finest and freshest ingredients. Unique to the Tampa location is Luna Lounge, a stylish rooftop bar for savoring handcrafted cocktails, a wide assortment of beers and wines, a special tapas menu. Opened from 4pm-10pm Monday through Thursday; 4:30pm-1am on Saturday, and 4:30pm-10pm on Sunda

The location, food and ambiance aregreat here. Tapas plates are just the right size for sharing with someone. I particularly liked the cheese plate, pork skewers, and shishito peppers. There is also a rooftop bar, however the weather was not cooperating. Will definitely check it out next time.

This is the second time that I have been to Bulla Gastrobar and I have not been disappointed yet. The food is very adventurous and, while they don’t always sound good on the menu, the ingredients that the chef puts together always make combine in your mouth to form great flavors that you would never have expected. The environment is very good with very good ambiance. Bulla is a great place to go with friends. It also has a nice bar and a great location in Hyde Park whithin walking distance or a very short drive of other fun attractions.

Best place I've been that serves Spanish food. If you are looking to have a great time, this place is for you. Nice atmosphere, friendly servers and the most delicious food. You can't beat the prices, we are a family of 4, we had about 8 appetizers(including calamari) and a paella(which was enough to feed all 4 of us), beer and sangria were half off, the bill was $126. After eating we went to the rooftop to finish our drinks and enjoyed a view of the town.

Questions & Answers

I would recommend making a reservation. Walk-ups were placed on a wait list based on occupancy restrictions when I was there

No. It's pretty casual. At least for brunch.

And the Rooftop Bar Luna is open Friday and Saturday nights also has a great happy hour the same time 5 to 7

Yes

On the right side of the restaurant entrance they have a lot with parking. Also on the sorounding area they have street parking. Be mindful that this is first come first serve so the parking does get filled up quickly.

Better call them to find out. Social distancing is in effect there

Typically a Spanish dish of chicken with bell peppers. Here's a recipe, I used Google: https://www.food.com/recipe/pollo-al-chilindr-n-from-jose-andres-357818

Very affordable I would have to say... totally affordable! 6.50 to 16.00 (for the jamon) embutidos- on up wards to I think like 35 bucks for the huge platter of Paella.. Prices are fair and with such a variety you will have a lot to choose. BTW I was there for dinner so prices are most likely different during Brunch and Lunch
